which resort---2 or3?!!?

hi all! I am losing my mind trying to decide which resort to go to! my husband has no preference, so it is all up to me!!! both of the resorts seem awesome!! We are in our mid 30's. also, we are looking to go sometime in February 2009. Which resort is more "happening" during that time? anyone?!?!

Check the groups forum, see who's going at the same time, msg/e-mail them, see if you click, then toss a coin.

The first time we went (9 trips ago), we knew nobody, and even less about the resort, and it was one of the best trips we've taken.

Really, your headin to a Hedo, in Jamaica, I don't see how you can do anything other than have a blast

Have been to Hedo 2 once and to Hedo 3 seven times with trip number eight coming up in August. To us, Hedo 3 has a younger crowd and there is something always going on pretty much from sun up to sun up. The amount of activity going on will be based on the groups that are there when you go. I checked on the hedonism 1 site and they have not listed any groups yet for the time you are looking to travel.

I just looked at the group calendar for Hedo2 also and did not see anything for February! There is only 1 post on the Hedo2 travel group forum?!?! That seemed kind of odd to me!?! Thanks for the input!!! I appreciate it!

You are welcome. It seems on this forum that Hedo 3 is the main crowd following. On another we're on, its Hedo 2. You have plenty of time to research and make an informed decision.

Good luck and truly, you cant go wrong with either one, it is after all, Hedo.

Hedo III definately! Jan-Feb are big Lifestyler months and both resorts will be on the fuller side. If you wait a few more weeks you can join the Amigos at H3 in April!

I had this same question 5-6 months ago. My s/o and I are 27 & 33. Not to mention total Miami/Ft Lauderdale party animals. We decided on H3 because of advise on this site.
Plus we like the clothing optional section, we booked pool front rooms at the quad with 3 other HOTT first time couples in the same age group from New York City and South Florida. None of us have ever been to anything like this and we really want to have to option of doing whatever we want and still being together.

We went to H2 in Feb the first time and loved it. The beach unlike H3 is awesome. You can walk for miles as we did to Margaritaville. H2 is a much larger resort and much more lush with vegetation. H3 is more compact, so less walking. Overall I didn't find the walking at H2 to be a problem. We stayed on the prude side for quiet at night and its only a 5 minute walk to the nude beach.

The rooms are nice at 3 but you don't see much of them anyway. If having an awesome beach is important to you as it was us, hands down H2 wins.
