Interesting article. I would think places further south would be more nude accepting like Italy. However, I have been trying to find nude beaches in Italy for a trip next spring and was surprised at how few there are. Maybe need to head to Germany! Rast67, nice assists btw!

You will find a lot of (family friendly) nude beaches in Croatia, but not in Italy.

We live in Germany ca. 10 Miles away from the danish Border. We have a lot Nude beaches around us. In Denmark ist is law that you can at all beaches be nude.
At all Saunas/Steambaths in Germany you must be Nude. Yeah, mostly mixed.

I can agree with the article, Germans can be really comfortable with nudity. I am an expat working in Germany for 5 years now and at first it was very shocking to see people being so comfortable with nudity but with time I got used to their way of thinking. I have managed to buy a home in Germany in a lovely neigborhood after I came here and after I saw my neighbours giving pool parties all naked I have noticed that I have ended up just in the place where I want to spend whole my life.
