Bare as you dare glow pool party

Has anybody been to one of these yet? I know many of the themes are new starting this month. Are there black lights which will activate black light reactive materials causing them to glow unlike they would under normal lighting conditions or does anything you want to glow need to create it's own light (e.g. glow sticks)? I am hoping for black lights shining throughout the party area because we have black light neon body paint and other fluorescent black light activated stuff. We also have glow sticks but they are so much more limited as to what you can do with them.

The new theme nights all start this week as of the 21st. The first resort run Rave Party should have been last night. In the past when groups put them on and rented the equipment, Black light was not a big player. Smoke and strobe/colored lights were big. Lots of glow sticks and LED. Wife bought an electric light bra for next week. We will report back when we have experienced a new one first hand next Tuesday.

There was a picture on the Hedo Facebook page showing the new courtyard all lit up for the glow party. Looked quite nice.

Thanks...checked it out...looks like we'll be leaving the black light reactive stuff at home and going more with the self luminescent stuff like glow necklaces and such.

But no problem...in the end it is more about who you party with than anything else. Should be a great time! ...and we'll have more space in the suitcase. Yay! Thank you everyone for your replies!

yes last time we brought our glow paint and trance rave fun stuff.
NO black lights... we ended up making our own party (brought small black lights with us).
Maybe this time we will find others to "black light" with.

We did our rave party in the disco and made sure they had the black lights on and most of the other lights off (especially the strobe), which worked out really well. For parties on the pool deck, yeah, we should definitely all bring stuff that glows on its own.
