April will be our 4th trip in the last 12 months so we clearly love it! However i think the best way to answer your question is to repost I message I wrote a few weeks ago:

Hi Guys,

We've got a few minutes to kill in the departure lounge before boarding our flight home to the cold and grey so we thought it would be a good opportunity to send you the trip report that we promised to do before we left.

The first thing to say is we are repeat offenders as this was our third trip to Spice in the last 8 months! So whilst you're not going to get a report from wide-eyed newbies we are able to give a more balanced view as there are few common themes that underpin all of our stays.

As with any club or resort the vibe of the place is in a large part determined by the people there are the time. Spice caters for Naturists and Swingers and half the fun in the early days is trying to work out who's who! This is never a problem and you can usually tell by the end of the first evening.

The other big thing that influences the atmosphere of course are the staff - at Spice they are brilliant. They can't do to much and nothing is too much trouble. The main entertainer James is a legend and really makes the place rock. He's got a knack of knowing when to rope people in to the activities and when to leave people to chill.
You asked specifically if public displays of affection where in everywhere to be seen and always in your face. From time to time during the day couples might get jiggly with each other around the pool but as Kenny Everett would say it's all done in the best possible taste.

As the sun goes down the temperature rises - the Jacuzzi tends to see a fair bit of late afternoon action an those couples who want to retire to their rooms for some pre-dinner fun can often be heard enjoying themselves.

Every night is a different theme night some although this is entirely optional. For example we're not into uniforms or burlesque - daring red, white night and pj & nighties are more our thing. Sometimes the men dress up as well although interestingly is more often than not the naturists. I must stress however that you can really wear what ever you are comfortable in. At the beginning of the week people tend to get dressed up after dinner but after a few days more and more people are wearing them during dinner as well.

The food is pretty high quality all cooked fresh to order - they've only got some 48 rooms at full capacity so it's not set up for industrial scale catering - thank goodness. That said we did speak to one couple who said they would have preferred a pile-it-high style buffet - each to their own I guess!
After dinner on most evenings of the week there are various games and activities led by James and able assisted by his "Bitch of the Day"! As always, those that want to join in do and those that don't don't.

The music is okay and chosen to suit the majority of the guests but a couple of poles and mirrors on the dance floor mean there is almost always going to be an impromptu show that develops.

Since we were there last the playroom had been remodelled and restyled it really is superb now, immaculately clean and very spacious. Couples will usually sidle of there from about 10:30pm whilst others tend to favour a pool party at about this time.

Depending on the time of year that you go it can be pretty quite - Nov, Jan and Feb are there quietest months so if you're of the opinion that 30+ makes a party I would avoid those months. However we've always found that lower numbers have meant that the action is more intense. That's said it would be a bit of a problem if you're there with only other naturists. However for most of the time we where there swingers made up at least 60% of the guests.

In terms of nationalities most people are from Europe not unsurprisingly but we've met people from Australia and Brazil as well. Ages range from mid to late 30 upwards although I would say most people are 40+.

Our last trip was during the coldest months of the year but each day the temperature was at least 22c by midday although the evenings did get pretty chilly.

My biggest gripe is that the WiFi coverage in the resort is pretty patchy. Most people found that it was fine around the pools and on their balconies but dropped off very quickly inside the rooms.

One last thing to be aware the main swimming pool isn't heated and although during the summer months it can be nice to go for a plunge to cool down. It didn't get very much use last week.

Before we left we put a deposit down on our 4th trip - if things carry on like this we're going to be able to claim tax exile status very soon.

We are going July 14th 2013 for a week , our first trip although we have been to Hedo 2 and loved it, its the theme nights that we are looking forward to, just waiting to see Val in her sexy skimpy outfits, is nudity allowed in the disco and how skimpy is acceptable, any info would be welcome. We will post a trip report when we get back

Hi We are going 12th to 16th Feb. Our 3rd visi. We found generally most lady's dressed for dinner then changed into their sexy costumes afterthey had dined. Certainly sexy skimpy outfits like you see at Hedo are the norm in the Bar Disco area. Our last visit saw plenty of Nudity spillout from the playroom area some evenings as well.

Skimpy outfits will certainly be in vogue and on the nights when James (the entertainer is there) there is a high probability that nudity will occur at some stage on the dance floor - I speak from personal experience having been his BITCH OF THE DAY on two occasions and ended up nekkid with multiple ladies licking chocolate off me!

Hi everyone,

we are a UK couple in our early 40's, full of life and now the kids have grown up we're in a long long 2nd honeymoon period ;-)
We are coming to Spice on Thur 11th Apr and staying 3 nights, we are 1st timers but we went to Temptation last year and loved it so much and we have embraced getting naked all day on the beaches of Greece last year.....loved it.
Can't wait to feel that sexy vibe again, don't know what to expect and we're going with open minds and plenty of the horn LOL
Looking forward to having a great laugh with similar people.

Does anyone know what kind of outfits are worn on the theme nights so I can do a quick shop for some bits and pieces....pics would be great for inspiration.

9 Days to go until Spice 14th July for a week, the wait is agony, we have seen all the new pictures of the refurbished play area massive beds with sofas around them, so lots of room to play, they have been very good with reply's to queries we have had, we bombarded them with questions and they gave very prompt reply's, sex is permitted in all areas, in the pool area but not in the pool or dinning area or reception, they even have peep holes in the playroom, so all in all a lot of fun.
When we get back we will divulge all in a report.
