whats up with the waterslide

I just heard that the waterslide is now closed and it sounds like for good... has anyone heard anything on this?

I really really really do hope this is just a temporary shut down. The water slide is one of the greatest things about Hedo and makes it such a fun place for us adults! I hope there is just some sort of fix it problem going on with it. fingers crossed.

I was thinking the same thing...insurance rates can suck the fun out of anything.

Word is it's permanently closed.
Most likely a result of insurance premiums and the number of injuries in the past few years.

YES, it is an inflatable slide brought in by a group, but in the eyes of the lawyers it's H2's fault.

The inflatable was fun, I used it on a different occasion, and it seemed safe, but mix in some alcohol and I guess bad things happen.

Not worst thing to eliminate at H2, sure it's fun but if it puts a resorts financials under stress and risk, better to drop it. Plenty of other fun things to do at H2.

Us to.... the slid was fun but where do we all like to be while there.... the nude beach and pool.... is that wasn't there we would have a problem.

we agree... alot of fun things to be had at Hedo....

So is the plan to just take it down? I guess it would make more room around the pool. It was fun but really only used it maybe 20 minutes during the week.
