Anything that is brought to our group would be passed onto the Zoo Krew for delivery to the school. They offered before and I am sure they would take the supplies again. I could go along, but that damn pool just draws me in, lol. Planning on going to Rick's Cafe and the flea market's this year

In all our visits to H2, we have only ever left the resort on the cat cruises, as I said, sand gravity.

Have you heard from Larry or Deb or anyone else at the Zoo Krew about which level of school they are donating to this year? Some years they do elementary and some years they do middle school.

I have not. I'll try to make a direct contact. I would like to not only donate, but visit the school and meet the teachers and children. This is something that really touches my heart.
I'll let you know when I receive more information.
I also think its very special if a group or few member from the group deliver it not just to had it to a third party am sure it would bring great feeling n meaning to the kids and teachers continue to touch the kids of jamaica heart :-)

Excerpt from my trip report....
Once we got off the bus, Robert of Dream Pleasure Tours was waiting for us with all our information and very importantly room assignment OVP 1123! We had brought school supplies with us as DPT collects for a local school. Robert said they we taking them the next morning but we could bring them to his room when we unpacked. He had 3 suitcases full of school supplies...pens, pencils, crayons, calculators note books, candy, etc.
(As a sideline we attended the DPT cocktail reception the next evening where Robert showed us pictures he had taken with his iPad...this school had next to nothing yet the children were happy and enthusiastic! The students and staff were extremely grateful and we felt very humbled and proud that we had at least contributed. We had only seen this type of poverty in Cuba.)

That's very nice I know how the teacher and students must have felt I respect all the groups and individual to consider the life of our nations children and the development of education and more important showing love care and kindness :-) helping them to achieve academically by providing these supplies while on your vacation that's realy a sweet n touching thing continue to spread the love
