OK just kidding, (wellllll maybe not). Larry and Deb are the hosts for the Zoo Krew and a couple of great people. We travelled with them on our maiden trip, and we survived. Bare in mind we were new to this whole scene till our first trip, and didn't know what to expect. The Krew have a great pre trip, "Get to Know" you, on line presence, with lots of talk and support. They moved these events to Facebook just last month. They really are a great bunch of people, most have known each other for many years, and also participate in other events at other similar styled resorts. You're in good hands with the Krew. How are you at appling sunscreen and delivering drinks. Usually newbies are required to serve the Krew members as an initiation. However, If you want to be left alone, they will leave you alone. We now travel the week before the Krew is there, with Biffs Bunch and the BCT. We leave the resort the day you arrive.
Have fun
Ray
Thank you ray... That was super helpful....
Awwwww Only sunscreen and drinks?
I dont think any groups are rival gangs….were just a bunch of crazy mofo's having a hell of a good time….I was a newbie last year and everyone is super nice…Ray and Marian were great, they took us under their wing and guided us through or first days
Peemoney, Oh hey, forgot to mention. The Krew asks for donations of school supplies, usually simple stuff like pencils and note books, highliters etc ($10.00 to $20.00). They gather all the donations then make a trip to a local school and donate the supplies. You can go along and meet the kids and staff if you like. There is no obligation to donate, and nothing will be said if you don't. If memory serves correctly, the Krew have a few semi private events. For the week they are at the resort, they occupy the walled side of the nude pool.
A n B, I didn't want to scare them off, now you may have let the cat out of the bag.

Yea we should be getting close to having no more snow by than. I really dont mind the snow though, especially this last dumping, it was nice and light so it was easy to shovel.
Our new hot tub is really helping to get through the winter though…I never imagined I would use one this much…we rolled in the snow Friday night and jumped back in the tub, well the woman didnt but they dared us guys to do it…well actually it was Chantal that dared us…shes trouble, lol…that was some crazy shit….
So yea, I guess we will see you in 60 days or so…Cant wait

We met the Zoo Krew on our Hedo cherry voyage and had a blast, we look forward to getting to party again with the group this year. Larry and Deb are great hosts and always have some surprises up their sleeves for the week. We22are469 thanks for the reminder about school suppplies, I had forgotten about that, will have to build a goodie bag for them to deliver.
We are also going for the first time with the Zoo Krew booked thrum Tom's trips. Normally we go during the Ms No Swinsuit contest. But this year work obligations prevent us for going with them. We just hope Zoo Krew is just as much fun. By the sounds of it so far they are.
I would love to help the school children of Jamaica. I'll be there at the same time with the Switch Hitters.
I would appreciate it if someone from the Zoo Crew would email me with suggestions of supplies for the children, iI would love to participate.
You can bring anything you want, any Switch Hitters can and I will make sure to collect and pass on to the right person
i love the idea of helping out in the local community. I think that my wife and I would enjoy this very much. any other pointers for this week this week that will help me?
Hey Mac RA, do you actually deliver the donations to the schools, or just pass them off to a local contact, or resort staff member. I know the Zoo Krew actually plan a trip, and invite members of their group to come along for the presentation of the donations, at the school. We never went along on the presentations, but they took lots of pictures, and that was all I wanted.
Sand gravity was just too powerful for us.
